bio
*NOTE: I am currently shooting in the Los Angeles area, working within the rapidly changing Stay at Home orders. I often work with just myself + my partner/digitech and am able to bring a high level of production value to travel, hospitality, interior, and tabletop photography, working with a small, nimble crew & setup. I also have a small home studio with a variety of surfaces and props, some of which are featured in the Home Studio section of my site.
Photography throws you a curve ball every day–new locations, unexpected conditions, and lots of making “real people” feel at home in front of the camera. Rolling with it & making some magic along the way is my M.O. I’m a meticulous planner, always seeking the unexpected. A strong background as a photo editor–Spin, New York Magazine, Wall Street Journal–gives me unique insight into producer, art director, and client needs from the other side of the business.
I bring storytelling elements to tabletop videos + the vivid color and graphic feel of my photographs to documentary.
Happy to relocate for the right full time position!
Based in LA (Pasadena, for locals), with 149,000 miles on my Prius & a valid passport. I’m able to work in San Francisco, New York, and Kansas City as a local.
Current obsessions: honor system farm stands, stagecoach roads, making pizza on the bbq, and the proliferation of beef jerky in the desert.
